Here's what each term means!
Right angled triangle: A right angled triangle contains a right angle. Surprise! A right angled triangle always has a hypotenuse, which is the side opposite to the right angle.
Acute angled triangle: An acute angled triangle's angles are always less than 90
.
Equilateral triangle: An equilateral triangle has sides and angles that are equal. Each angle is ALWAYS 60
.
Obtuse angled triangle: An obtuse angled triangle always has one of it's angles greater than 90
.
Isosceles triangle: An isosceles triangle has two of it's angles and sides equal. Want to know where the angles go? The angles are always opposite to the sides that are equal in length.
Scalene triangle: A scalene triangle always has all of it's sides of dissimilar length.
